I suggest you ...

Do not automatically post the "I've signed up to Engagio, etc" message.

...Especially when I specifically unchecked the "Share on Facebook" box thinking to avoid this. Where did I authorize this autopost? (Which, to make matters worse, is written in a decidedly unnatural social-media hype style.) It came as a shock and a disappointment to me, and confused or annoyed my friends. Exactly the opposite of the intended effect!

Hi Matt, Thanks for your note. Actually, we don't automatically post a message to FB nor to Twitter. Is it possible that you inadvertently left the box checked?

As per the message itself, we're totally anti-hype and factual. "This is the message text "I've signed-up to Engagio to manage my social engagement and relationships from one unified Inbox. Join me to reveal our 1:1 interactions across the Social Web."

How can we improve that message?
